Jim & Teresa
I was honored last weekend to witness the wedding of one of the most humble and genuine people I’ve ever known. Jim is one of my oldest friends, and although I just met her, Teresa seems perfect for him.
After the wedding, my mom was talking about what kind of toast she might have given at the reception. Her sentiments echoed my own:
Jim is a man of character. Despite degrees from Duke and Cal Tech, Jim doesn’t flaunt his intelligence. He’s the same person no matter the situation, and he’s exceedingly humble.
I got choked up watching Jim as he watched his new wife dance with her father. It was a privilege to see someone I respect and admire find someone he will share his life with.
my oldest (as in years known, not age) friends got married last weekend in Port Angeles, Wash., a ferry ride and short drive from Seattle.
