Early Days with Radar (via jerseyfreeze)
It’s been six and a half years since Leah and I brought Radar home from the Guilford County Animal Shelter, and I marvel at how he fits so naturally into our lives. I remember feeling overwhelmed the first couple of weeks after we got him. I didn’t want to leave the house for too long and I constantly worried about him. But we quickly settled into a routine and now he’s a constant, easygoing presence that I miss terribly when I’m away.
